Gone are the days of serving boring desserts to your wedding guests. In 2019, brides and grooms are opting for desserts that look and taste like edible works of art.
When we told Julie of Julie’s Macarons about our vision of a cake inspired by 1920’s glitz and glam, we had no idea that she would present us with the showstopping masterpiece that she did. The cake truly looked as though it should be in a vault of precious jewels rather than atop a metal cake stand.
Of course we can’t forget the highlight of this dessert setup…macarons!! Macarons (not to be confused with macaroons) are a meringue-like cookie with a creamy filling. They are an elegant choice for any wedding or event and can be served stacked or in a gorgeous tower formation like the one Julie created for our photoshoot.
