Nothing has more impact on the overall look and feel of your wedding than the venue. When booking a venue you should select one that compliments the aesthetic you are trying to achieve with your design and decor. For example, a barn would not be the preferred setting for a modern style wedding while an event hall may not be the best location for a rustic look.
City View at Sterling Square, which was once the home of the Evansville Mercantile Company, prides itself on being 19th century industrial meets 21st century chic so hosting our art deco inspired photoshoot there was a no brainer!
The aged brick walls of both ballrooms provided the perfect backdrop for our Great Gatsby-esque bride and groom to exchange their vows and cut their cake. The huge windows and gilded wallpaper of the loft area also set the scene for some fantastic vintage-inspired photos. Additionally, the luxurious details of the furniture and decor in the lounge and dressing area just further enhanced the look we were trying to convey. This is exactly what you should strive for when choosing the location for you special day. In other words, let the venue do some of the work for you! We are certain you will be pleased with the result!
