In Abby’s words, “I first met Mark when we went to the same middle school. We then went to the same high school and started to become such good friends, we went to a winter dance together our Senior Year.”
“After high school, we both ended up going to USI where we grew even closer. We were often together grabbing food, studying in the library, or watching a movie. We always had easy conversation and were always happy to be together. People often told us that we would make a great couple.”
“Instead of doing that, we started dating other people and lost communication for about 3 years. Then during our 5-year high school reunion, we were brought back together. We instantly hit if off again like nothing had changed and this time, we actually started dating! We had dated for 2 years when Mark proposed to me at Lincoln State Park on October 27th, 2018.”
“We got married on December 7th, 2019 in a Christmas-themed wedding, reminiscent of a Hallmark movie. We are both huge baseball fans and dedicated a table to our Dodgers/Cardinals rivalry. We also had a table with dog treat favors from our dog Oliver for our guests’ fur babies.”
“Now I get to spend my life with my best friend, and every day I love him more!”
