ENGAGED! RIVER VALLEY is looking for exceptional photography of diverse local weddings in IN/KY/IL Tri-state area. This is your opportunity to showcase your talent to thousands of local brides-to-be, both in-print and online. Photographers and the happy couple will be notified if selected.

LOCAL LOVE: Real wedding submissions must be located in Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois or Northern Kentucky to be considered. We may also accept destination wedding submissions as long as the couple is from our River Valley region.
DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS: ENGAGED! River Valley aims to bring a fresh wedding perspective to our River Valley Region. We want to see weddings full of details that show off a couple’s personality. While we love a beautiful photo of the bride and their wedding party, we also really want to see how their décor and day set itself apart from others. Without many detail shots your submission will most likely not be chosen to be featured. Our audience wants to be inspired so be sure to take the time to photograph the design details, floral details, décor and of course those beautiful candid moments of the happy couple.
Some weddings we are looking to feature: Sweet& Charming, Modern & Fresh, Cultural, Unique with a Theme, Seasonal Decor, DIY Inspired, Budget Friendly
Also, be aware that no matter how beautiful or charming a wedding looks, if the venue is not appealing it will not be featured unless your photography can minimize an unattractive background or other distracting elements.
DESCRIPTION: Include a detailed description of the couple, their names, how they met and any other interesting facts about them, their wedding or details they are including in their big day.
VENDOR INFORMATION: You must list ALL applicable vendors associated with the wedding and the photos you submit. This includes city, state, ceremony venue, reception venue, floral, décor, design, bridal gown, hair stylist, makeup artists, bridesmaids dresses, rentals, etc. Please also include vendor websites and/or social media pages.

Only submit 20-60 high-resolution non-watermarked images per wedding.
These images need to be no bigger than 11 inches in height or width and must be a resolution of 300ppi. We prefer that you share via a Dropbox link. Images must be downloadable.
Please include all aspects of the wedding: getting ready, portraits, ceremony, reception, and details. Especially the details.
Do not submit lo-res, watermarked images, or images that can only be viewed online. We won’t be able to choose your wedding if we can’t download it. And we can’t publish your wedding if the photographs are low resolution or watermarked in any way.
WHEN TO SUBMIT: You can submit weddings anytime. We will let you know if we will use your piece and when.
Print features are exclusive to Engaged! River Valley —the wedding cannot have run with any other media outlet in order to run in the print magazine.
Submission does not guarantee publication in the magazine or online, and publication will be determined by editorial discretion. An editor will be in touch if your photos are chosen for publication, and by agreeing to have the photos or work published, you and the agreeing couple featured grant ENGAGED! RIVER VALLEY permission to use the photos on our network of pages and publications, including but not limited to ENGAGED! RIVER VALLEY, ENGAGED-RIVERVALLEY.COM and ENGAGED! RIVER VALLEY’S Facebook Page, Instagram Page, and Pinterest Page. We do not unpublish these features, even in the event of a marriage dissolution.
We try to publish on our website all the great weddings we do not have room for in the magazine.
